Sensei Tom Shull

          Sensei Shull is the owner and chief instructor at the Vernon Valley Karate Academy. He has been training in the martial arts since 1975 and holds the rank of Rokudan, 6th degree Blackbelt.  Sensei Shull has also taught elementary education in New Jersey for over 27 years and has earned his Master’s Degree in Educational Administration. Sensei has experience teaching all levels, Kindergarten through Middle School, and was awarded the New Jersey State Governor’s Teacher Recognition Award in 1987.

 

 

Tim Duvelsdorf

          Tim, a Nidan, 2nd degree Blackbelt, teaches our Saturday mixed class and works closely with our Junior students teaching beginner weapons and sparring. In addition, Tim also holds the rank of Shodan in Okinawa White Crane Karate Tim is a coordinator of our STORM Team demonstration group.

 

Barret Myzak

          Barret a Sandan 3rd degree Blackbelt instructor is very active helping to instruct all of our Ranger and Junior ranked students. He also holds Blackbelt rank in Weapons and helps to instruct our Sparring and Weapons programs. In addition, Barret is active as a coordinator of our STORM team program

 

Coriann Grunstra

          Coriann a Shodan 1st degree Blackbelt instructor is active with all of our Ranger and Junior level students as an assistant instructor

 

Tracey Caballero

 

          Tracey a Shodan 1st degree Blackbelt instructor is active as an assistant instructor with our Ranger and Junior level students.

Ashley Duvelsdorf

 

          Ashley a Nidan 3nd degree Blackbelt instructor  is active as an assistant instructor with our Ranger and Junior level students.
